Hollywood, CA -- January 30, 2007 -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC: BSEG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrei Gireada as the President of Development in its new Games Division.
Hollywood, CA -- January 30, 2007 -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC: BSEG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrei Gireada as the President of Development in its new Games Division.
Mr. Gireada is the owner and CEO of Newrosoft, a well-respected developer of both MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online), Casual and Cell phone games. Newrosoft has developed over twenty games, and currently employs over a dozen programmers and developers who will be working for Mr. Gireada in creating games for BSEG.
Newrosoft has engineered several high profile games based upon well-known television and film properties owned by Sony Pictures Digital.
Mr. Gireada holds both a BA in Computer Programming and an MBA in Project Oriented Software Management from the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economical Mathematics in Bucharest, Romania.
"Mr. Gireada's vast experience in creating viable games based upon television and film properties makes him the perfect choice to head our gaming division," said BSEG CEO Kimberley Kates. "Additionally, he brings with him a team of experienced and talented programmers and developers."
"Ultimately our goal is to have Mr. Gireada develop and acquire numerous games for this new division of BSEG, as we become publishers in this area," Kates continued. "We are also in talks with other companies to acquire a large number of games, in addition to the three we have under construction. Our first casual game will be released in July through various portals. The next casual game based off 'Babysitter Wanted' is scheduled for release in September 2007."
BSEG's MMO game is currently in development, and an aggressive marketing campaign will begin over the next several months in preparation for its launch.
In addition, BSEG, with the assistance of Newrosoft, will be creating various new company websites, including one for the company's latest film, "Babysitter Wanted" and several game websites.
