HOLLYWOOD--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC:BSEG - News) proudly announces that Academy Award nominee Burt Reynolds and film icon Raquel Welch's hit comedy, “Forget About It,” directed by BJ Davis, is performing extremely well in all media venues.
“The latest information from our domestic distributor, Allumination Filmworks, is that early numbers indicate both strong sales and rentals for the marquee picture by BSEG. As part of a targeted release market, Blockbuster and Netflix came on board and stats across America are showing a strong following, as the available copies are going quick. Other ancillary markets such as Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart have picked up the title, which is terrific news,” said BSEG CEO Kimberley Kates.
“Forget About It” reunites screen legends Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welch, who get strong support from fellow Academy Award nominees Robert Loggia and Charles Durning. Charles Durning co-starred with Burt Reynolds in numerous film and television projects and will be the recipient of the coveted Screen Actors Guild’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award on January 27, 2008.
The producers of “Forget About It,” John D. Schofield, BJ Davis, Kimberley Kates as well as screenwriter Julia Davis, would like to congratulate Mr. Durning on his Lifetime Achievement Award. Burt Reynolds will be presenting the SAG Award this Sunday at the 14th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2008, with an introduction by Denis Leary.
