Monday, 12 May 2008
Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC:BSEG) debuts their new line up of films at the Cannes Film Market in France beginning on May 14th. BSEG's CEO, Kimberley Kates, Pres. Of Production, Stephen Eckelberry, VP, Michael Manasseri and General Counsel, Michael Gardiner will all be repping BSEG's interests and attending the market.

Also in attendance, from Canada, will be the Founder of Film One Entertainment, Jalal Merhi. Mr. Merhi has been in the film sales business since 1989, and is an expert in both international sales and distribution. BSEG is very pleased to be working with Jalal, and his impressive line-up of film titles, many of which he directed himself.

Big Screen will be debuting, for the first time, their 35mm print of "Babysitter Wanted" for buyers on Sunday, May 18th at 4:00 p.m. at the Olympia 8 at Cannes. "Babysitter Wanted" recently won the audience award at the "Weekend of Fear International Festival of Horror" in Nurenberg, Germany this past weekend.

LionsGate UK will be distributing the "Babysitter Wanted" this fall.

In addition to selling "Babysitter Wanted" under BSEG's new distribution arm, The Independent Film Company (TIFC), the company will be selling a full line-up of completed titles.

Some of the exciting new films are "Contamination," "Target Practice," "Mirror in the Bathroom," "William Shatner's Gonzo Ballet" and "The Circuit 3."
