Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC:BSEG) and legendary actor/director William Shatner have signed a deal to produce a new feature film, slated to begin pre-production in the coming months. Big Screen's Florida production partner, Five Star Pictures, will be onboard as well.
Shatner (Star Trek, Boston Legal) will direct the comedy, which is based upon his original story. "We're pleased to be working with Mr. Shatner and proud he has chosen Big Screen and Five Star as his producing partners on this project, which promises to be a funny and compelling film," said BSEG CEO Kimberley Kates. Discussions are underway with a number of big stars who are interested in participating, as well as a major studio. We will be announcing more details in the coming weeks." BSEG also recently announced that they are in post production on a brand new documentary with Shatner, chronicling his music career, as well as the original ballet based upon his album, "Has Been." The doc will be distributed by BSEG and Five Star under their new distribution banner soon to be announced.
